Welcome to the University of California, Riverside. UCR is the second smallest campus in the University of California's ten campus system. Our size affords the opportunity to attend a small, personalized campus both socially and academically. We are located within a one hour drive of Hollywood, Newport Beach, Palm Springs and the mountain resorts.
UCR is Division I and competes in the prestigious Big West Conference. The volleyball program has a rich tradition of success winning the 1977 Association of Intercollegiate Athletics for Women (AIAW) Small College National Championships and two NCAA Division II National Championships, in 1982 and 1986. UCR Volleyball holds the Division II record for 19 consecutive NCAA playoff berths and was consistently ranked in the top 15 in the country. The team is confident that the tradition of success will continue at the elite Division I level. This commitment to excellence is a priority in all aspects of university life. The current team is very proud of their top academic ranking among all athletic teams at UCR.
